I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. And sore. And hot, then cold. And cranky. And recliner-bound. And probably stinky. And wearing glasses. And being unshaven.
I’m ready to be better now. Seriously. Any time.
Any.

NOW.

Is the antibiotic helping (she asks, shifting into mom mode)?
I’d imagine fiction written while taking codeine cough syrup might be kind of interesting. Are you coherent enough to write? Although incoherence never stopped Allen Ginsberg. (60s beat poet, his masterpiece was Howl)
Is it possible to use too many parenthetical thoughts in one comment post. (Or am I being too self conscious?) 😉
I’ve been known to nest them (because sometimes there are asides I simply must state (and stating them is so much fun)).
Hope you feel better soon.
No, all the test results came back negative, so I just have a whopping virus. The downside is that anti-biotics don’t do a lick of good.
I think I might be on the upswing though. Apart from a reaction to codeine that kept me up itching all night (seriously, it’s been the weirdest “sick” I’ve ever been), I’m less achy, and my chest doesn’t hurt as bad.
Thanks for all the well-wishes!
Wow. I have no recollection of leaving that comment. Codeine is weird to me.
