The Worst Smell Ever

https://www.daathize.com.br/vjpqwoe0 No, I did not have chili last night for dinner. And, eiw.

The smell I’m referring to is that which emanates from a microwaveable bag of popcorn after it’s been in the microwave under power for too long. It’s not just a burnt smell mind you, but rather an unholy death stench that invades the very innards of the microwave.

https://electroseleccio.cat/h6nh8cpbr Here’s what I don’t get though: I never know it’s burning, until I open the door. Then the biting putrid odor spews out like a disemboweled zombie all over the kitchen once the door is open. And here’s the odd part — every time AFTER that, whenever the microwave is on, it smells like burnt popcorn. Why didn’t it smell that way when it was actually burning?

  1. https://www.suitupmaine.org/x3vbpfi6 Yeah, I agree, burnt microwave popcorn is the worst. I don’t know what it is that makes it smell like that – combination corn, butter oil, and the bag. Yuck.

Ambien Ordering Online I buy those Easy Off Microwave Wipes: you zap them for one minute, the bag bursts open and the steam cleans out the oven’s innards. Let it sit for a minute, then use the hot wipe to clean out the oven compartment. Works pretty good for getting rid of the burnt popcorn smell.

Alternatively, you can use a paper-towel soaked in water and lemon juice, zap it for a minute, let it sit for a minute, then wipe down the inside of the machine.

  2. I rediscovered recently that boiled tomato soup makes a great cleanser. (It’s easy to discover this, too, because boiled tomato soup expands a lot more than broth…) It’ll easily take off the worst burnt black spots on and under the drip pans.
