Kids, they’re just so cute. Or at least they’re cute enough that when the other side shows up, we refrain from doing things that would put us all in jail.
It’s great to know that kids love you, and they show it in the simplist ways. They don’t do anything big or showy; they (most of the time) come right out and say, “I love you” and they’re serious.
You can’t possibly miss something as awesome as that! 🙂

I hear you. I’m consciously documenting the good days, so when she’s a teenager, I can look back in disbelief…

The opposite of joy is getting an email from your eleven year old containing his Christmas ‘demands.’
