This is Lydia. It may not be perfectly clear in this cellphone photo, but Lydia’s eyes are particularly pink today. The doctor won’t let her return to school until Thursday. Ironically (for me anyway), she’s not thrilled about that. She wants to go to school. She doesn’t want the drops in her eyes though, which I do understand.
But hey, she gets to hang out with the old man this afternoon, because Mommy’s at work. We are both sitting on the couch, each with a laptop. I’m doing this, and she’s helping feed hungry kids. I feel a little guilty, so follow that link and redeem my blogging. 🙂
I just donated 200 grains of rice, with a high score of 42. I don’t know if you’re redeemed, or not. Or if that means I have decent vocabulary, or not.
I’m at least partially redeemed. I haven’t even seen how the game works, I just know my kids get giddy about earning rice for those in need. They make me so proud. 🙂
I racked up 220 grains of rice and installed fedora while listening to a podcast. I feel productive.
Pink eyes or not, that is one seriously cute kid. I foresee major grief for you in a couple of years, my friend. major daddy grief. Bahwahahahaha!
Thanks, Jim. Sadly, all 3 of my girls are adorable. My oldest, 10, is already very much a pre-teen. I’m glad I work at the school, so I can prescreen a bit…
If you want to pre-plan being paranoid you could start setting up security cameras now. I’m not sure if it’s possible to monitor peoples thoughts and have it show up on your phone as an RSS feed but you could be first on that technology.
Yeah, I already perfected the “Teenage Boy Mind Reader RSS Feed” — now every 23 seconds, I get an update on my feed reader:
Sex.
Sex.
Odd, kinky sex.
Sex.
Halo 3!
Sex.

Hey Shawn, you can have the teen-age boy RSS feed directly to your Chumby! That way you could always have that stream of consciousness available and in your face. Every father’s dream!
