What the Junk?

Buy Ambien Generic We don’t have a junk drawer in our house. That saddens me immensely. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a big fan of clutter, but it’s very strange to live without a junk drawer. At work, it’s not really been a problem, historically, because I’ve had at least one place for junk. For example:

Junk Drawer

But here at home, my wife is very much against junk drawers. I’m not sure why, and it just seems wrong to me. That leads me to a few questions…

  • If you don’t have a junk drawer, where do you put your super glue, scotch tape, spare batteries, dried up ink pens, scissors, playing cards, poster sticky-tack, coupons, eyeglass screwdrivers, and old wine corks?
  • Are junk drawers an American thing, or is the phenomenon international?
  • What room does your junk drawer live in?
  • What’s https://adamkaygroup.com/uncategorized/occvkpymus8 in your junk drawer?

So do tell! Inquiring minds want to know.

  1. I can tell you where those things in your first comment go… NO NOT THERE YOU SICKO! 🙂 1. Super glue – in the craft basket; 2. scotch tape – on the desk; 3. spare batteries – on the electronics; 4. dried up ink pens – GARBAGE; 5. scissors – in the desk drawer; 6. playing cards – on the shelf in the closet with the board games; 7. poster sticky-tack – in the desk drawer with the scissors; 8. coupons – paper clipped to the calendar so they are there when I go to the store; 9. eyeglass screwdrivers – in the tool box with the other screwdrivers or in the bathroom drawer and last but not least 10. old wine corks – either in the craft basket or in the GARBAGE! Now that you know where all your stuff is, I’ll know that if I see you digging in the garbage you’re looking for a dried up ink pen or an old wine cork. 🙂

In the Philippines, my dad had a junk drawer in his desk, which was in the living room, of all places. Grandpa had one in his writing desk and grandma had more than one. All of them had interesting stuff in them! Hmm, I would say junk drawer is a universal thing.

  3. https://juristas-ruidos.org/pdv96x13h I don’t have one at the moment (because my junk is scattered all over the house), but my mother’s junk drawer had rubber bands, pens, pencils, scissors, tape and just about every other little loose item you could think of.
